CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES

Arrival after 2:00pm on Sunday

Departure by 10:00am on Friday

In spring the snowdrops and daffodils on the roadside through the village are delightful. The village consists of a cluster of pretty houses and a farm that are dominated by the grandeurs of the palatial Hassop Hall and the Classical temple-like Catholic Church. For centuries it was the home of the noble Eyre family, who built most of the village and little has changed over the years.

Hassop is two miles north of Bakewell and has close ties with nearby Great Longstone. A mile to the south, where the Monsal Trail passes along the former railway line, the old station buildings house a large bookstore and café.

Now more than ever, it’s important to ensure our cleaning procedures are thorough and measures are taken to thoroughly clean and disinfect our property before arrivals. In a post-Covid world the duty of care extends to taking reasonable precautions to minimise the risk of the virus being spread from one group of guests to another.
